Forget him, not even worth talking about. Only thing worse than people saying bad things about him is people saying nothing at all.
Frankly, the shizzle ain't exciting.
This however is. I suppose you either get it or you don't.
James put it more eloquently than me though.

Re: Amazing barn find and a journey of discovery
I have been off air this weekend, sorry. I had a family get together to further discuss plans for my daughters wedding in July ( which is the reason I will miss CLM this year). I now realise it will be far cheaper and less complicated to restore this car instead.
Brendan has had a busy weekend too I think.
Thanks for all your suggestions and contact possibilities. There have been further emails,pm's and phone calls which we will follow up with a little more time after tomorrow.
More on this story this week.............
Regards
Mike

davep wrote: What they have found is a factory prototype LWB. The 32001x series was a set of bodies produced to evaluate the long wheel base to be used from 1969 onwards. Later the surviving bodies were renumbered with proper 1969 VIN's. So far three such cars are known to have been renumbered, and two are in known hands. 320010 became 911S 119300001, 320011 became 911S 119300002, 320012 became 911E 119200001. It is suspected that 320013 was also made. 320012 was apparently LHD originally, but when the factory disposed of it, the customer asked for a RHD conversion. It went through several notable hands in short order.
Evening David, four or five years ago Maxted Page advertised an Albert Blue 2.0 litre S , UHH 53G. Originally owned by an Austrian Prince and tagged `The Baron` it was the 1999 and 2000 PCGB concourse winner and..... although billed as a 1968 car, it was a LWB and had MFI engine. I presume it was very close to the cross over. Mike and I have spoken about this car and I wondered if you had any further information in your remarkable data base ?
Here she is...

Re: Amazing barn find and a journey of discovery
For those of you who are wondering why the story has slowed down/stopped it's because we are now real time, so now more F5
We did learn some more about the car over the last couple of days and I'm sure that will come out via the story teller at some stage. What I can tell you is the car now has a name thanks to JohnM. And when you think about it, it can only have one name.
Female, the first and it's an E ...... Eve

Re: Amazing barn find and a journey of discovery
Mike, I really know nothing about this car. I`d say that it was a 1968 calendar year & 1969 model year car. Without a VIN I cannot say more. All too often a year is stated that is obviously incorrect when the VIN is checked; 1965 to 1966 transition excepted, there it is a lot trickier. If the whereabouts of the car is known, then it can be tracked down and identified; or perhaps someone can contact Maxted Page.mycar wrote:Evening David, four or five years ago Maxted Page advertised an Albert Blue 2.0 litre S , UHH 53G.
