Great to see you here , its fantastic this place like the who's who of the British Porsche world
The black car is a g50 3.2 custom built by Paul Stephens , I think Sam designed it . It will replace my mini cooper as my daily car .
I went to see Sam at PS and he was fantastic , the car is on 15 inch Minilites and is set up to have an almost perfect ( for me at least ) balance of power , handling and grip . It is a G50 box 3.2 . It was resprayed , the engine ( top end ) was rebuilt , interior was backdated along with the exterior . Then it was put on Minilites and treated to a semi " R " / custom look . I just fell in love with it , it will make a different , exciting and quite practical ( for my needs at least ) daily car . On the 15 inch wheels its just tremendous fun at legal speeds . Paul and Sam took great care of me and I wandered off and kept coming back to drive it ( I just couldnt resist it ) and eventually took the plunge and bought it .

Here she as - WP0ZZZ917FS100152 - as discovered in rural NZ.
A 1985 3.2, 964 (RUF bumpers & 3.8 RSR rear wing). Very certified 66km's and the subject of 2 P.P.I's. 2nd with an ex Factory & RUF mechanic here in NZ.

Sorry for the lack of the photo's (not accepting JPEG's) but she is now mine!

Currently going through Low Vol mod compliance, then will be registered for the road here in NZ - my plans are as follows;

• Replace that <insert expletive here> rear wing (Duck tail)
  Fettle the Brakes / Rotors & all Fluids
  Aircon delete
  Sunroof delete
  Replace rear reflector strip

Followed by a severe case of insert key, twist, engage clutch & gear then DRIVE

Long time no speak. I'm glad that you are well and it's funny we've both ended up with old 911's. We must have impecable taste
I still have the csl and am still smitten. Had to have a front end freshen-up at the end of 2012 and all is now well again, though that and the 911 set me back a fair chunk of savings! Mind you, with no mistress, no smoking and no golf it all means I have money left for the important things in life!


1972 was a good year, all things considered.

Bought in Hong Kong in 2000. Now owned it for 12 years, still gives a thrill everytime I get it out for a drive. Argueably the perfect mix of air cooled tradition with modernity but just my opinion.
