Hey Darren
I'm in Paris at the moment on business, last week I was in a restaurant and by chance met the "UK 2CV Owners Club" on their annual trip away. Nice bunch of people. They were all showing me photos of their 2CVs and going on about what a great car it is.

Hi Paul,

I really love 2CV's - the most enjoyable restoration you could ever undertake, cheap parts, plenty of availability, worth a couple of quid when they're done, quirky and great fun to drive and also air cooled!

I'm also a member of the Duex Cheveaux club of Great Britain and plan to attend one of their events as soon as I get around to growing a beard.

When I had my first Targa in the early 80s I used to commute in my early Diane. I loved it.
I only used the 911 to go places as the mpg in town was dire.
I bought a later Diane but that was nothing like as nice and got very little use.
The early Diane was great fun to drive and discouraged sudden changes of direction but you could change gear without using the clutch and it was all very relaxed.

Met him at Prescott earlier this year and had a good look at the car - very nice.

Post some pictures of these in the 'non-Porsche picture of the day' thread if you get a chance Berny.
