I am looking after the sale of a LHD 1972 MY 911 2.4 S , non sunroof coupe which is no longer original or matching numbers . In 1998 the owner spent a considerable sum meticulously converting this into a 2.7 RS replica with ATELIER RS 73 , France . The documented conversion consisted of
• New Porsche original rear welded steel flared arches ,
• Bare Metal Colour Change from Yellow to Mint Green
• Lightweight Interior
• GRP bumpers front and rear
• Ducktail Spoiler
• Alloy Rear Trailing Arms
• New Bilstein Dampers front & rear
• 944 Turbo Front Callipers
• Up rated torsion bars 18 mm front ,26mm rear
• Momo Steering Wheel
• 2687cc engine to RS Spec, built on a 1975/76 case – upgraded with the later hydraulic cam tensioners and high compression pistons
• 6" x 15 “Fuchs all round , the rear Fuchs have a most unusual offset , but are genuine Fuch
The car was painted Mint Green at the time
The car is in great condition , has 33 km’s mileage , with no major rust issues . I am finding it very difficult to set a fair price in this market and have been given a range of valuations already from a few specialists
This is not a fishing exercise, car will be shortly for sale, but I would appreciate any advice as to potential values members on here feel the car may have ?
Many Thanks
Kieran
