The Alfa is a bit of fun. It did run last year with the previous owner.

The ELVA.....I'd be happy with a full 6hrs foremostly. We have been around 3 min laps at Spa so should be in the top half for qualifying anyway.

Correct routes downloaded into TomTom

I've never used 'Routes' before on my TomTom (Tom Tom One)

Where do you access them on the device? Anyone know?

I've been studying some of the routes Brian as devised & I think we might have to be a bit flexible once we get to to Germany ... looking at the route to the Vineyard it appears google maps have taken us all down the 'landrover' tracks within the vinyards themselves ! My satnav doesn't even have them down as roads .

Brian is aware of this so we might end up with some minor modifications ..... :bigsmurf:

We're going in the 356 Mick - I had a couple of issues to sort, nothing too major, no white stick required!

As for the 911 - there was no point at all in throwing £50 away to be laughed at - its residing quietly in the corner of the garage until I decide wwhat to do with it. I'm missing it a lot :crybaby:

Anyone want to meet up enroute to Hull?

I'm planning to get there around 2-3ish

About a 4 hour drive from me along the A47, A17 and wherever from there.

If you, or anyone else, is passing my place (YO8 6QA) then you're welcome to call in for a brew/rest break.
It's only 40-45 minutes to the ferry terminal from here

Hi Bootsy,
Mark, Ian myself and now co-pilot/navigator Jason are going from Nottingham to Hull we are thinking A roads are less boring than the Motorway. Our paths would cross on the A15/A631 at Caenby Corner Garage if you would like to meet up?

Thanks for the offer Mick, I don't fancy a clip round the ear for suggesting ragging your car round the ring though

I'm doing Leicester to Hull. I'm thinking of going A46 to Newark, Lincoln, A15, M180, A15 to Humber bridge. Timing is all fairly flexible, but keep to take my time as we have all day.
I can meet the Notts guys at Newark perhaps.

We are thinking of going through Gainsbrough so the best place would be the service station on the A15? We were looking at leaving at 1.30 it's about 2 hours to Hull and about 1 hour to the A15/A631 just say what time everyone wants to meet
