How much gap should there be between body bumper?

No sure on a pilgrim Paul, if it helps chesil's if old stock bumpers is about 3/4 to an 1". The new style bumper fits alot closer to the body by about 1/4". Thought you would of mounted them before going to paint so you could shave alittle hear there to get a continuous gap??

Showing my age now talking in inches and not metric :lol:

yeah but dont forget theres about 30 gallons of paint on my car!!! I'm having to turbo charge it cos of the extra weight!!!

There`s the gap on an original Speedster, it`s huge. Looks like I need to move mine out a lot!
