Rear Roll cage

Post by 100702mark »

Does anybody know whether a rear roll cage from a 1970 911 will fit a 1967 short wheel base 912 or will the pick up points be different. Im not sure where the modifications between the long wheel base and short wheel base manifested themselves, was the bulk head moved.

thanks

Hi, give Chris or Jeff a ring at Fenn Lane Motorsport, they make cages for 911's,, and will be able to tell you if there is any difference,

Depends on the roll cage, a photo would help. As the bulkhead moves forward by about 50mm on the later cars, then you should be ok. If your after a correct early cage, that fits on the rear seat pivot bolt, we make these as well, for cars with or without sunroof!
