Old school American Racing 5 Spoke Torq Thrust D's get my vote. Rarish over here but well worth the look.
I love the smell of burnt rubber and hydrocarbons in the morning, it smells of......victory.

What year is the car?????

My first Bug used to run on standard 4 stud, then being a poor student painted them purple with red/yellow/white and black brush flicks (real budget b289 but lots of us did it  ) Then when money allowed I went through a succession of Sprint Stars, polished Fuchs (courtesy of retrosteve) then EMPI 5's and 2litre alloys.

Miggs, be sure the cookies are 6+7 pairs... 7s look cack on the front. Ran 6s all round on my 181 but bead blasted to matt. Bugger to clean and the 130/205 adaptors meant the tyres caught the fender lip - no narrowed beams back then!

Moon discs definitely the way to go, cheap (clip-ons) and you could do the fade paint finish that many baggied yoofs prefered...
