Tuning Volkswagens By Peter Noad - £ ( SOLD )

This is one of my favorite Period VW Tuing books :) Will be sorry to see it go. 1st Edition 1970.

I remember reading those Peter Noad VW tuning articles when they were first published in Cars & Car Conversions ... :oops:

Noad's book is superb :). Some great period tuning, which for unlike today isn't focussed on drag racing, but concentrates on the full package of VW's in motorport etc :)

On the Peter Noad book, that isn't actually the first edition – there are at least three different covers done at various times, 10 or more years apart, and all are printed inside with 'First Edition 1970'! This is the second printing.

The true first edition had a black and white cover pic, with red and white logos to echo the Cars & Car Conversions cover design.
