What do you expect on your Porsche factory restoration? Decent welding?

Maybe you have to pay extra for that...

Fabulous pictures 8) . I'm guessing there might be one or two to follow ....

(can't believe that 'factory' welding , what were they thinking putting that on the stand?).

Relentless heat but an awesome event. Might as well add my pictures here too, though more amateur than Gary's

The lovely Tom (Bootsy) found him hanging around the Docks, wasn't sure if he was coming to CLM or just there for some sailor action.

Rich and Steve at the ferry port, great start to the event with the majority of cars being classics

Yeah I couldn't believe it either!! Even my amateur welding efforts on my first beetle 20 years ago look like a work of art compared to this mess

Yes, Gary and I (well Gary, with me interfering: all familar stuff), whiled away a pleasant 1/2h or so trying to get the lighning. Amazingly tricky, and at the time it looked as though one hopeful shot didn't really pick up the lightning anyway.

Trouble is, there's no way the camera or the lens can be blamed (as they are both wonderful) . Lovely set-up Gary, one day perhaps I might have a D300s 8) .
