Red RHD Speedster (rep?) '4516 RU' M27 junction 8 Hedge End

Post by pmjt »

I was out in the RS and heard a four pot come past  Have to say, if it was a rep it was a bloody good one  might have been genuine

Waved and waved but either the owner didn't like 911's  or he was otherwise occupied.

Anyone on here?

I think its the same guy who turned up at the Portsmouth Historical dockyard visit by Region 17 PCGB..... He lives near Andover.

I didn't get to see the car, but it looks good from 10ft away, not sure it was a rep or not.

The sight of 19 Porsches going down the M27 was impressive, but all post 1973.

Cheers

Thanks Mike :-) Yes, back home thank heavens and enjoying being with my family, my RS and the weather  Drove some lovely miles this weekend - the cruise along to Lee on Solent this afternoon was great fun.

He turned off towards Hedge End and I had to carry on towards Bursledon - so I couldn't follow. He was in a rush though.

The exhaust seemed to be sitting a bit low for a real one - but she did sit well. Couldn't get closer than about 20 feet.
