I have visited that site before. There is a rep here in the states that sells this brand of seats and they are actually located in our state. I did not see the exact seat shown here on their site though? The seat in this build has holes cut out for the seat belts, those on the site are all solid. I see some seats with cut outs and some where the belts come over the top. What works best?

Thanks Mark :)

I only had a point and shoot at the time, but was pleased with the way it came out. I was really inspired at the time by a shot i'd seen of jamie lipmans (also on here) old 911 in a garage with it's lights glowing in the dark from a long exposure - that was a very cool shot!

Cheers,

Hey Mark. Yes indeed, I've been in Australia since Feb so progress has slowed, however, car has now been collected by Neil Bainbridge so is now at BS Motorsport for the electrics to sorted, some other work to be done, set up and MoT'd. Will be on the road very soon!

Viv, good to hear you are progressing. Please post up some pics when you have time. I have been kicking around the idea of converting my 12 to an 11. Cheers.

Okay so time for an update......Neil had a look at the car initally to see what was required and unfortunately the 'other works' list ended up a lot longer than I had anticipated...there were some fairly nasty problems with the car which hadn't been brought to light, the least not being some serious rust issues:

So this was a focus to get sorted clearly!

New panels ready to go in:

All of these problems have now been sorted and the car is being reassembled, the wiring needed to be sorted out, some works on the oil lines, tank and cooler has also been necessary.

Finally, although brand new calipers had been fitted, the old brake fluid was still in the oil lines which needed to be drained and cleaned and new fluid put in the system.

Having been rather glum a couple of weeks ago, starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm sure it will all be worthwhile.....this is the car being colelcted by Neil and looks good anyways 8)

Are those repair patches home brewed or available?
Years ago i saw a set of panels like that in Automotion catalogue, but covered both sides. How did Neil sort the rust in the tube itself?
