Anyone know a supplier of tinters (specifically A929 and A974) in Glasurit 55 line?
:)

Managed to find a company today that let me have just the right amount I need for my formula without having to buy a full litre of each (I only needed 41 and 22 grams of each)
Glasurit aint cheap is it

...mixing it up this weekend 8)

No, Glasurit has never done 'cheap', but it's effin' good stuff.
Don't spread it too thickly, now!!

Just contacted my local paint supplier and it appears they are only supplying paint for water based systems - new EU leg.

I had heard that this leg was on the way but I thought we had some years left yet before it took effect. Anybody able to shed some light :?:

Their right - no more solvent based is to be manufactured or imported as from the start of this year. Suppliers may still be using up old stock but once its gone its gone ! The major manufacturers and suppliers have been moving towards this for a good few years really. You can still get lacquer/primers obviously. :(

My local paint suppliers will still do solvent based - you have to sign a disclaimer though to say that you are not using it for cars, but its ok to paint your driveway gates with it!!!

My gates are soon going to be Light Ivory...... lol

I got some from these guys in the end
http://www.rigbytaylor.com/paints/index.html
who likewise advised that if it was for "classic restoration or coachwork" they could still get solvent based, but werent sure for how much longer :?
