The rear number plate panel on my car is abit beaten up after various US and UK number plates and at some point has had a meeting with something solid and concrete. So Before replaceing it I decided to give this ago. I went down to my local exhaust maker yesterday and picked up some offcuts of stainless and some cheapo trim pieces. Afew choice cuts later I'm left with this, I may try getting some slightly longer pieces but I think it looks pretty good, and from what can work out there seems no problems with back pressure etc. I may need that 1720 rebuild though to justify the look ...
Thanks

Yeah thats what I thought, it looks that at some time in its life it has been damaged and filled, only for it to be damaged again. There is a crack just under the number plate which I guess is the filler cracking.
As I said I am looking at replacing the panel , having said that I now like the look of the pipes
Thanks
