WOW 8) Fantastic road trip, glad that you had a great time and that those old Porsche's didn't breakdown. Thanks for the great pic as well :)

Looks fantastic - my girlfriend saw you coming back through Hull this morning and phoned me to tell me of a yellow early 911 she'd seen -she was very excited as your number plate's only 5 digits away from a yellow RS that I used to own !!

Could have been worse mate! Great work, a dream drive for sure.

A few weeks ago I found a crack across one of the petals of one of my 8 inch rear Fuchs and my spare pair need bringing up to RS finish. Rather than risk the trip with a cracked wheel I ran with the minilites.

Regards
Mike

Marvellous stuff. Good to see the cars getting used. 8)
Some of those vistas look incredible. You're making good use of that wide angle lens aren't you James?

James, great write up...
Brought back some great memories for me, so much so that we hope to return possibly next year.
Have to say I loved the Sustenpass

When we did the Grimsel the clouds were lower and we drove through, up and over them 8)
Below being the result from what looks to be the same carpark!

Looks like you had a great time. Planning a trip down to Stuttgart in September, which hotel did you use?

Looks a fantastic trip James.

Not sure if we do 'quote of the year' on DDK but this must be a contender:-

:) .. it might have sounded a bit rough though as my car wasn't exactly happy in the Hull traffic ... coughing & spluttering a bit because it was still cold.
