1974 2.7s targa value
just browsing and seen a nice 1974 2.7s targa with 30 odd thousand miles on the clock from new, everything all original, what sort of money does a good one sell for

2.7s are really undervalued - if it were an average one, it'd be £7k.
But this one has the low miles and ALL the style. All of it. It looks fantastic. I'd hazard a guess at £15-17k. It's not £20k, and it's not £10k. Knowing what people charge for good cars, I'm probably wildly off the mark. So don't listen to anything I have to say.

Is it? Was looking in admiration at the pictures: i had a 76 2.7 targa in my younger years....356boy wrote:I believe the car is now in oakham leicestershire for sale
Oakham is 45 mins from here and a damn nice drive. If anyone is interested in the car, I'm willing to make an appointment with the vendor and have a nose around and take a few pictures?
Take care,
Bert

What he said- also low mileage on a CI car means nothing.

Probably means that top gear didn't get used a lot....ninetenths wrote:nick-moss wrote:The sea air can play havoc with the metalwhats wrong with jersey cars Rolling EyesApart from the paintthis car .... is totally original.

And never got to a decent operating temperature, the island is 9miles by 5 for goodness sake. having said all that it could well be a cracking car but it will be inspite of being a Jersey car not because of it.
