Rain-x

Post by fetuhoe »

We used it on a stage rally car for an event on Eppynt and it was very good on the high speed sedctions when there was heavy rain, almost to the point that you didn't need wipers.

When the rain eased but didn't stop we did notice it caused a great deal of 'drag' on the wipers which slowed then down and caused visibility problems.

After the first day we came to the conclusion that the problems we ahd when there wasn't much rain were more damaging to times then the improvement at high speed.

I imagine if we had a higher powered wiper motor we may have come to a different conclusion.
