throttle pedal linkage

i need the bendy piece of metal with the ball joints that sits below the throttle pedal (hope that makes sense , not sure what the name of the part is. i have had to straighten mine so many times that it has broken uri geller stylee.
warm in the winter, cool in the summer. stirred not shaken, always stylish.

It sounds like you need a new throttle pedal as well, the rod with the balljoints normally only bends if the pedal can move from side to side excessively when the rubber has become unbonded from the metal hinge.

sorry its not the rod its he piece of metal that has two flat sides and ball joints attached. cheers

I guess you have a LHD car, as the linkage is different on L and RHDs. It's available new from £30.59 from Porsche, part number 25 in the picture below.. I may have a spare but won't be able to check till Monday

As Butzi says, probably not worth fitting the replacement without a new accelerator pedal as well - Same thing likely to happen again and again...

PS - Chris, any luck finding that Tractor leaflet :wink:

the pedal rubber and hinge are fine the people who fitted out the car might have fitted an inferior one (just a thought)
