28th January 2009 Midlands curry night

Post by TheEasyLife »

I recently appeared to volunteer to organise a Curry night as Mark (912uk) is up in Birmingham in January and I told him he needed to go out for a curry in Leicester.

I then realised that dragging him from Brum to Leicester and back is unfair and so I'm looking at holding this in Birmingham instead.

So, is anyone interested in a Curry night in Birmingham in January? Won't be expensive I promise. Will probably be at a great place I know in the Balti Triangle. Will give more details of dates and location in a few days after I have spoken to my preferred venue.

Regards

James

PS have put the year of this event in the title incase it mysteriously reappears in 4 years time and fools some drunken fool. You know who you are...

The restaurant I want is www.alfrash.com Please check out their reviews on their website as their food is truly gorgeous.

I have spoken to them and we can get our own floor with our own exclusive staff member to serve us if we can get 24 people. Less than this and we are with the hoi polloi!

So the list is:

No car park but there is on road parking and a small public car park within 100m up the road if memory serves me right.

I won't be taking my Porsche.

I'll be up for it as well, I can walk there in 10 mins from work so perfect for me as long as it's not a really late start. Don't risk parking a Porsche in the local car parks or streets.
