what do you mean by 'heetsheets' and how/ why would they enable your motor to run cooler?

If you are having overheating problems with an aircooled motor I'd have thought some fundamentals need looking at

tried a few suppliers in the states but no replys yet , the reason i want heatsheets on my 964/993 motor as its not a standard spec motor and not fitted into a 911 so any way i can lower temps a little cant do any harm , anyone know any suppliers still stocking heetsheets in the usa

Hi,

You could try speaking to this guy:

Bob@rallyusedparts.co.uk
Shield Developments Ltd

He was extremely helpful in providing me with competitively priced heat shield mat for the rear valence. He may even fabricate something if you're that way inclined.

Cheers,
