what time is everyone planning to arrive on the Friday?

we're leaving from North london at approx. 5.00pm, after leaving the girls at my mums. The AA say 182 miles and going up the M1, M6, A5. is that a good route? I was going to go M6 and up through wales. Any suggestions folks

Indeed Mike best way from the south is M1, M6, M54 and then up the A5.
I think I might be leaving on Thursday eve and staying with the parents on Thursday eve - but if my work gets busy I will be leaving on the Friday about 2ish :)
