Quality refurb on my Fuchs by Alan.UK

Post by TheEasyLife »

Alan.UK has just refurbed my wheels and they are fantastic. They are flat sixes that I bought in the states from ebay as they are dated the same month as my car was built. They had been polished a while back but were dull so I had them polished by a local company. I was then going to have them detailed but speaking to all (Matt, Ash and others) at CLM made me realise I needed them anodised.

I couldn't afford to have them done by one of the more well known refurbishers and I couldn't find an anodiser in Nottingham who would touch them. I called Alan who said he could help. A few evenings later I delivered them to Alan and said "I would like them anodised, painted and fitted with some new tyres please". One week and a very reasonable amount of folding stuff later I have them on the car and they look stunning.

Alan has been an absolute gent to deal with, if only he wasn't so far away!!! I can happily recommend giving him a call if you need your wheels refurbing.

Now for the piccies :

As bought from Ebay:

Doesn't she look better?

Once again, Thanks Alan.

Now I need the paint on the wheelarch sorting, some 70's seats, some proper trim for the front bumper, and and and......

Cheers

James

Even I have to admit it looks better  .

Mind you, I don't think it helped that I got the detailing on the 16's all wrong, had I gone deeper into each spoke they would have looked a bit closer.
