Just thought I would push this back up, only 16 people at the mo and the Chainbridge are saying that is it fully booked for the weekend..... hopefully we haven't double booked with the local anti car group

Hi Rich,

On the off chance I have just rung the Chainbridge (knowing there had been some cancellations) and they had 2 rooms spare! - we were able to transfer our booking from the Wild Pheasant to Chainbridge without losing our deposit. There is still a twin room available.

I do know that quite a few folks are currently on their hols...hence low response?

Anyway Danny and I are now at the Chainbridge 8)
Cheers,
Vicki.

Sorry - have to drop out

Post by Highfield »

Sorry, but I have to drop out of this :-(

Car failed it's MOT today, and although only minor things, I do have to sort out the ARB and am unsure on exactly the reason for the failure.

I have a twin bedded room at the Chainbridge that I am happy for a DDKer to take instead of me.

Really gutted, but will be up for next year's tour.

Have a good one.

You've still got time to fix it :) If not the daily drive is more than welcome, it is only just up the road for you anyway!

OK, I am still in for this.

I will come over Friday afternoon in the daily drive (Alfa GT I bought recently) and cadge a lift for the Saturday run - any passenger seat spaces available ?

Will get off early Sunday and crack on with the suspension / brake refurb, and MOT failure items :-)

Is there a 'convoy' from the East / West Midlands - I will sneak in at the back.
