1970 Porsche 911 LHD coupe 2,2 T
The car is a matching # car , original engine and transmission as delivered by porsche in 1970
Chassis number : 9110120916
engine number : 610586
transmission is the 901 type ‘dog-leg’
color # : 1414
wheels: original fuchs 6jx15 polished with black hearts.
History:
We found the car in Portland USA, the car had been changed on several points to look like a later type 911 ( black fuchses and window trim)
Engine:
The engine and transmission has been taken out and cleaned, the engine has been stripped apart and gone through and resealed and
where needed parts have been replaced
Clutch has been renewed and a lighter flywheel has been installed.
All sparkplug cables have been renewed.
the ventilator and all sheet metal have been sand blasted and repainted
the body:
When we first got the car It was in ivory white, very badly painted in the US ( we all know how that looks )
We totally dismanteld the car and sanded it down to bare metal.
some rust was found in several areas and have been treated/welded.
the whole car has been rust proofed with fertan
We used new body deco trimm where needed or reused the good that was on the car
all of the rubber that we had to replace has been done with oem porsche rubber
The car has tinted windows with new rubbers and trimm
interior:
The interiuor has been brought back to original.
the doorpanels have been replaced/retrimmed as where the doorpockets.
The seats have been reupholstered with original headrests.
Also new fabric in the front compartiment with it’s original wooden stick ( ?? )
suspension etc:
The rubbers of the torsion plates have been replaced with new ones
all brake calipers have been renewed
