Anyone know this 911E ?

Post by vroomvroom »

Anyone know anything about the silver ’73 911e for sale on pistonheads, the owner posted on here a couple of months ago too.

http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewto ... light=911e

I am planning to get it inspected (subject to owners approval) at a cost of nearly £400 and would like to know if anyone has already been to see it and if so what their thoughts were ??

Kind regards

I last saw it about 18 years ago when it needed front wings ,door shuts, sills etc as it had extensive corrosion.

Dont know it but looks a bit expensive to me.
My one from USA cost nearly half this and is in a good useable condition with no rust.
You get used to the LHD as well.

Price looks about right for '73 RHD 'E'

Edited to say "depending on the condition"

It looks a bit rough on the photos with paint bubbling up on the bonnet and a missing sill trim. Be slightly afraid! Don't know the car though, so just commenting on what little can be seen in the photos. But it doesn't look great from those.

Edited to be less harsh!

Always seems slightly strange when given the opportunity to show 6 pictures that the seller omits to show the interior or the engine.
