Hi, chaps, this is my first post in this fantastic forum.
First of all, I would like to congratulate you all for posting these lovely old pictures.
Now, a few precissions:
As can be seen in this picture, the registration plate of Waldegård's Porsche in the '70 Alpenfahrt was S-R 2970, instead of 2870:
Larrousse's Tour de Corse picture is from 1969.
There are two pictures of S-YS 847 without caption: the first, #60, shows us Elford / Stone winning the '67 Rallye Lyon-Charbonnières - Stuttgart, while the second one, with the 911 wearing the #1, shows us the same pairing winning the '67 Tulpen Rallye.

I went to look at this car, which Toivenen won the Acropolis Rally in, when it was for sale in 1978/79. It was a mess, nothing fitted properly, it ran badly, and handled worse! There was evidence of a lot of rust, but we couldn't actually see much of the floorpan because of the full works dural undershielding. And there were 5 spare pistons and barrels with it. They were asking 4000 pounds, when a nice 1969 2 litre 911S was about 3000. We went away and thought about it, since it was neither as fast or as good handling as the 914 I had at the time. We offered 1500, and the owner thought about it..................... but then declined
