Cost of shipping from the US of A
I want to buy some body panels from the good old US of A off Evilbay.
The guy said that shipping is about $300 for a bumper to Holland as an example from FedEx. He asked me if I knew of any other way.
Any one know of a good way to ship 'body parts' from USA? If I get it at a good price it cripples me on postage.
Any ideas????

You'll get it a lot cheaper if you send it via sea freight... but you could wait up to 10 weeks to get the bits!!!!
How about approaching one of the chaps that regularly imports cars etc? Get it into one of their containers perhaps... there are a few on here buying from the states![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Get the seller to send it via USPS (std US postal service) - should be well under $100 for both rear bumper halves (airmail).
Don't forget to ask the seller to 'downgrade' the value to e.g $25 in order to minimise the chance of being caught for import duty/VAT/admin charges.
