Me too - the full monty is too busy for my liking

But it's your car - and if they're decals presumably you can take them off later

Great work again, very purposeful looking! This is going to be one very cool looking car!

Where did you get the roll cage from? any info greatly appreciated.

Another nice idea 8) I'd be tempted to cover the speaker hole up for neatness?

Dash

Post by haasad »

Gary, thanks.

The holes (all of them) will be covered with black anodised 1.6 mm thick laser cut and folded alloy sections ( planning ahead !!!) I'll be fitting a single line of toggle switches in the middle, About as ergonomic as the original stuff I reckon. Watch this space :)

The cage is a Safety Devices bolt in unit. It is alloy so not legit' any longer for scrutineering in classes where a cage is mandatory. At least it is light, I bought it new years ago. I think the same pattern is available in steel but am not sure.

Great project Andy, and looking really good.

Love the black & white early cars :-)

Where did you source the rear 3/4 windows ?

Agree it'sd looking cool - what is that red inset detail for? Presumably it's something race related - showing tyre valve location?

Anyway the car looks really cool

red bit

Post by haasad »

The red bit is really just a bit of nonsense.

I saw an endurance racing 914 / 6 with it done.
