Mike,
"WA" is Washington State, USA. It borders OR and ID. I'm about 40 miles NE of Seattle.
I bought the car last March and since then, I've replaced or refurbished just about everything on it. The orginal 2.0 was disabled by the previous owner and now there's a '70 2.2 T motor in there. It's got Elephant Racing poly-bronze and monoball suspension bushings, adjustable spring plates, new Koni's up front and Bilstein HD's in the rear. New brake rotors, SS lines, and rebuilt calipers, rebuilt 901 tranny, etc...etc...etc...
The only rust on the car is in the front suspension pan, and it's not too bad yet. The PO owned a body shop and the car was bare metal resprayed Light Ivory about 6 years ago. About 5 years ago the engine went and it's been parked in a garage since. I picked it up off Craigslist for the princely sum of $6500USD. Yeah, I know...but I'd been looking for this car for 10 years and looked everywhere everyday, so it's not like I just fell into it.
It's been a great project that I'm sure will bring me lots of happy miles.
Here's a couple more pictures.

Big fan of the Gulf Porsche era, Le Mans etc.
Non-sport SC with uprated bilsteins and 16" fuchs to improve the handling a bit. In 8 years of ownership has had rebuilt motor, gearbox and brakes and a full respray. About to get a set of SSIs thanks to DDK!

Hello all,
My RHD 1970 2.2T. Had it for the last 3 years. I'm the third owner of this South African import. Good original car. Factory fitted spot lights but no headrests - as shown on the original paper work from the Porsche dealer 1969. Resprayed in the 80's, top end rebuild in the 90's, new clutch 3 years ago and new SSI's about to go on.
