Consider it as a pension plan where YOU take responsibity for your investment rather than so called pension fund "experts". Some of these guys take an annual chunk of your savings, pretend they are clever and when they lose your money immediately blame " World market conditions "richkaz wrote:[quote
Seriously though; and I'd like to throw this out to the DDK ensemble, what excuses do you use to your beloved's (male or female) to justify such expenditure on what are really-speaking toys?
Has anybody else run into the 'Do you know what else we could do with this money.....' type arguments? What do you say? Or has everybody else got understanding spouses, and I really am with the trouble and strife?![]()

Thanks for that Vic,Vic Cohen wrote:Gold script more usually associated with 3 0 rs , infact on all 3 0 rs ! What a lovely car again details like bonnet badge and engine in general spot on..............does happen to be my favourite colour!
Having driven both, in my humble and quite possibly controversial opinion, the 3.0 RS is a better all-round car than the 2.7.Spydermon wrote:Thanks for that Vic,Vic Cohen wrote:Gold script more usually associated with 3 0 rs , infact on all 3 0 rs ! I didn't know that, and wouldn't have made that association. Don't think I've seen a 3.0RS, were they later IB cars?
It is a lovely colour, and the gold works well, wonder why Porsche didn't use it with the 2.7RS?
Cheers,
Steve.

I wouldn't know (yet!), is this a taboo subject that I'm not aware of? Is the 3.0RS IB or not?Lightweight_911 wrote:Many (most ?) people who have driven both would agree with you Tim.Roadrunner wrote:Having driven both, in my humble and quite possibly controversial opinion, the 3.0 RS is a better all-round car than the 2.7.
