Thought I could hear something today!

Upon inspection my top pulley has decided to call it a day!

Anyone got one laying around I could use - also need the nut as I seem to have mislaid it!

Check the shoulder on the cooling fan hub - you will probably find the outer pulley half has been rattling around on it and cut some deep grooves .

Thanks Chris, I had a good look and there doesn't seem to be any damage although I'll have a better look tomorrow.

Anyone got a spare pulley and a nut spare? If not, where shall I get them from?

Do you know which alternator you have? If you need the 16 by 1 nut, these are no longer availble. I had some made and prob have a spare one if required.

I'm on my second one in 2 years - the first cracked for some reason. Not expensive from Porsche - you'd be better off getting a new one and a spare.
