The car is provisionally sold and is meant to be going this coming Wednesday. I was going to wait until the deal was concluded before posting that it was sold, but I guess it doesn't hurt to give the above info.
Thanks for all the kind comments about the car, I will be very sorry to see it go!
I should also mention that the response to this ad has been fantastic (mainly from Europe) and I haven't needed to advertise the car elsewhere, so thank you Bootsy.

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I discovered DDK last summer during my quest to find the perfect classic 911. After a few months of looking at dozens of websites and many more cars, I stumbled upon this beauty. Not least because of all the positive comments by other forum members, I decided to buy my first ever Porsche, a thrilling experience! I am sure that, being the newbie that I am, I will return to this place often in search for tips and advice...

The car is now in the good hands of Tim at Carrera Performance and has a date later this year with Nick Moss. Eventually, it will be living in Madrid. I would much appreciate any info about classic Porsche maintenance you guys know of in this part of the world...

Finally I want to thank Paul for all the wise words he shared with me and for the smooth(ish) sale of the car. (that is, except for the medieval banking system in the UK.) Good luck with your trip around the world Paul.

Cheerio
Dries

Hi Dries,

If I can help let me know. I know a little bit about that car as I originally bought it and imported it from the US. I drove it for a while and it was a great fun car to drive.

Thanks

There are just too many chartreuse cars around at the moment. Black is much rarer
