Just been looking at your restoration thread http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=102312

Bootsy thanks for that , I am so crap a being patient with uploading to photobucket then onto here. I only seem to be able to send one pictrure at a time to photobucket.

Thanks for the kind comments on my car. I know it wont be to everyones taste but I just love race cars. I am very self critical by nature and the very close up shots of the intakes etc just show up the bits I'm not perfectly happy with . However it is not being detailed yet just assembled ( Like an airfix kit  )

Things are looking up at least on the car front Clive my painter is coming over this week to polish it so I can spend some of Chrimbo putting on the decals which is very satisfying.

Damnn... Thats one hell of a fine car buddy. I wish I had the patience to build my car with that much detail.

Thats inspirational, well done.

Stunning....it's going to be superb.... Making me wonder whether to go for a 911R instead of the 'usual' RS/ RSR for my next dream Porsche...

Thanks for the kind comments guy's. Feeling others appreciated and understood the effort it takes a normal income family guy to build this type of thing while dealing with all the other stuff life throws at us has been a real lift.

Tonite I was motivated enough to fabricate the front screen retainer clips ( it is a race inspired car) ready to send them for anodising.

I really suppose this thread should move to the resto sectio or I'll be in trouble with da management

The other andy kindly said he would help me post some further snaps as I progress but I expect you have all realised that rushing isn't an option here also I wont pester andy too much then.

Thanks again to you all.
