Hi Andy - am in more or less exactly the same position as you at the moment - kitchen is a worksite, cash scarily low, car has lots of little time-consuming bits which I can't begin to sort out.

Arse. Bring on 2008 Panama Grand Tour.

You forget though - we own Classic Porsches! The rest is merely part of getting by and surviving!

Chin up, I got sacked made redundant laid off whatever you want to call it, in March. Personally I didn,t fit in anymore and was told in no certain terms to f*** off. Mortgage, loans, two children, overdraft and credit cards all mount up but f*** it, best thing that has happened, still struggling financially, but at least now i,m doing something i,ve ben meaning to do for years.

So chin up, and look at it as a new start, make something happen for yourself, and good luck.

I'm in a mess at the mo but working thought it.. I have 15 days left to do 27 customers Jobs before X mass, all the items I need are not arriving till later next week!! so at the mo I have sitting waiting for the storm, it's making me feel sick in the stomack.

To top if off it's been the best 6months of the company and all the really big quotes I put out.. have ALL but one come back.. to add to the 27 others currently on the go.. sure i'm going to make money but will I survive to spent it and will I make every one happy. To top it off again just had another call from a customer who's 16 blinds for her Huge new kitchen, I managed to put off till after Christmas has said nope I must have them for a dinner party and wants then before X Mass!!!!

Plus another show house for a Builder who wants it completed 1st week in Jan :? :?

Tom knows what's it's like as his brother is in the same trade as me..

if you can fit blinds and curtains and have time on your hands then I can pay you!!
