KPH speedo

Post by 912uk »

Can a 911 speedo work ok with a 912 I can't think there is any thing different other than models where the display rating is different..

if so I am on the look out for a Kilometers per hour one please for a 69 era.

It'll work Mark as long as its a cable drive 69-73 one, but there may be an issue with calibration....not that it would be that significant, infact I wouldnt be surprised if any of our early cars are that accurate.

I'm fairly sure it'll be ball park though

Hi,

From what I can work out, the calibration should be somewhere close. I am looking for a MPH speedo and have a KPH one, fancy a swop?

Hi,

Sorry it took a while to come back.

It is the only speedo I have, so I need to keep it, or swop for an MPH one, instead of putting some markings on the glass or opening it up and redoing the face!

Regards
