Goodwood Breakfast Club

Post by sjm »

Hi all - I'm going down to the Goodwood Breakfast Club meeting on Sunday August 5th. The theme for this particular meeting is "Deutsche Marques" - all things German welcome! I'll be trundling along in my 356A along with a friend in a 996TT and hopefully another mate of mine in a 997 2S with 'aerokit' - so I'll be leaving a few hours before them! I just wondered if anyone on here was going along as well? See this link for more details...

Excellent - thought I might be on my own! Has anyone been before? What's the format? I know it sayd about going out for a drive, but how do they do this - all at once, or in groups?

Simon, yes, I should be OK for that one.
Format in the past has been a meet-up in Petworth and a quick blast down to Goodwood in convoy.
It can get VERY busy these days. Reckon on marshalling in Petworth town square and trying to get away by 8.15am and you'll probably get parked on the gravel by the Vitra Cafe and get to the Pit Lane breakfast before the queue is too long. I'd predict the 'German' car area will be full before 9.00.
