Sounds wonderful to me, Yorkshire looks to be a reasonable distance, so put me and the lady down for the convoy up north.

I've made a couple of calls - and two more tents are no problem at all - so 10 - 12 cars shouldn't be any problem at all - as long as some don't mind drawing short straws for the camping

James - this could be the start of a 'pre-Scottish trip party'  8)

Thanks Mike
I bought a few sets over the course of last year, this was the nicest set I could make up from the parts, they're Marchal lensed though (i would have preffered cibie). the other pairs... I decided to cash in on the recent insane prices and stuck them on ebay.com, they both needed some restoration but still fetched silly money

Darren, they look great! I paid £120 for a pair a few years ago, sold them on a couple of years later for £350, thought I'd done really well, wish I'd kept them

I'll be following you on the night runs then
cheers, Mike.

It's not like you'll have any trouble keeping up is it Mike :bom:

Maybe you should have kept onto those lamps, the other two sets I sold made £430(needed resto) and the nicer set £550  I paid nowhere near that

Don't know if you have planned your events yet. I have no doubt the VW show would be thrilled to have you guys along.

If youve never been before it's a great show where all the Scottish and a lot of North of Englanders and more get together.

Would be great to see you all there.

I really hope some DDK'ers can drop in at Biggar at some point over the weekend! I'm sure if a group of you arrived en masse we could arrange a special display area in the arena for you.
The opportunity to drool over hardcore Porsche classics would make my weekend as much as the real ale on tap!
Just try and give us a month's notice to get a suitable area planned. Can't believe it's only 8 weeks away already...

Cheers, Alex
