Re: No hand bake/parking brake warning light
I found the missing wire, tucked away under the carpet. The switch was totally missing and the contact bow that the switch touches seems to be broken off :( Does anyone know where I can get a new contact bow from (in the UK)? I think the part number is 901.613.523.20 and should look like this; https...

No hand bake/parking brake warning light
So this light has never worked in my car since I've had it (pic isn't my car, but the brake light indicated by the white arrow). https://i.imgur.com/yhgtwae.png I assumed that either the bulb was gone or some other wiring problem. But then it flashed on briefly while I was driving, so I assume the b...

Fuel Pump Rebuild Kit
Hi, my fuel pump seems to have given up ('68 912). It was never very good, but lately it won't even pull enough fuel to start the car. Does anyone know if there is somewhere in the UK I can order a rebuild kit from? This YouTube vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP0gpyDOVAQ suggests that the two f...

Re: Red indicators
I have the same conundrum so definitely going to give this a go. Did you do your brake lights too? Not in the Porsche but I do use red LED bulbs as brake lights in my VW split screen van. They seem to work OK and are nice and bright, but a friend following the van told me they flicker quite a lot -...

Re: Red indicators
If it helps, I swapped the flasher for the reverse light, and popped in an amber bulb... JB done Or if you want to keep your reverse lights, you could use an LED like I do; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWS5CkKu4fg http://i.imgur.com/c4YS4gpm.jpg These are the bulbs http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/1...
