Have you been in touch with the hairpin motor company? They should be able to source one to your spec? Similarly, have you tried Adrian Crawford to try and source one for you?

Hi Mark - my motec install exhibited similar symptoms in Neil Bainbridge's hands. He couldn't get it to rev past 5500 initially. He ended up fitting a clewett crankfire kit - something to do with the number of teeth on the flywheel (129 standard, motec prefers 60). Not saying it's your problem, just...

Correct Mark, mine is a 3.4 although if you followed my thread on IB.com you'll recall I've had engine dyno runs suggesting power and torque is way down against what it was producing back in 2009 - admittedly on a different chassis dyno but the figures were backed up other cars hitting the same figu...

Hi Mark, Shirish here - glad to read hyou've kicked this off and glad it was you that bought the kit as i know you'll make it work :) I ended up getting a Motec M84 fitted to my Carrera by Neil Bainbridge, using TPS and MAP, coil on plug and sequential injection using the ASNU performance injectors ...

Rare one but worth also checking the battery poles themselves - had this with a hire car once m, one of the battery poles was loose within the battery body, might be worth a wiggle too with the car idling
