Slightly off topic but reading your reply above Keith I was minded to check something on your 2018 MOT exemption thread Keith and it seems to have disappeared ?

http://technic-motorsport.com/miscellaneous/ring%20carpark%2076.jpg Continuing the 1970s car park theme, this is somewhere round the Nurburgring at the 1976 German Grand Prix, back then you just rocked up parked and pitched your tent where you wanted and bought a ticket for a few DM at the nearest ...

Re: ARE 356 WHEEL STUDS THE SAME AS 911 IF SO I NEED LONG ON
To avoid confusion all 356 and 911 studs are M14 x 1.5
If I remember correctly 356A and B drum studs are 40mm long
Standard pre-impact 911 are 45mm long, there are various longer studs to accommodate spacers and different wheels.
Lengths are measured from under the flange.

What you need is one of these :- http://www.stoddard.com/t52084017.html http://www.stoddard.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/t/5/t52084017lg.jpg I don't know if they are available in the UK, it shouldn't be too difficult to make up something similar. Barrie

Re: GRP 914 panels
I still do the 914 GT parts and have a couple of sets in progress at the moment, the website prices are correct and are plus VAT but still roughly half of FSH. This amused me from their website :- We point out that the body of the 914 was handcrafted by Karmann, that leads to extreme manufacturing t...

Re: So, did we all vote
The problem with your argument for an early election Alastair (and also that of a few MPs who should know better), is that this is no longer possible without a two-thirds majority of MPs voting for it. This from https://fullfact.org - a very useful site for checking the real facts on all sorts of th...

Re: So, did we all vote
I was going to have a rant about the various specious arguments presented mainly by the Brexit side and the somewhat ridiculous argument about respecting democracy when we have a hereditary monarchy and an unelected house of lords (with 89 hereditary peers and 26 bishops ffs), but having read the le...
