Very tempting - I will check to see if my Porsche dealer can supply these rectangular ones as an alternative as the 'Durant' type mirror is useless. I am kicking myself as Alan gave me the option of the mirror before the holes were drilled :roll: - 'My Bad' as they say! - Is this going to look daft ...

I would rather try and get a complete new one as the repaired one never worked properly after I tried to repair it.
Truth is that they are just so flimsey and fragile!

The 911T is fixed and running 100%
French mecanic also replaced one of the bearings which had a visibly damaged race.
He also gave the carbs a tune and she is running better than before!
