A big benefit with asking Nick to handle the rebuild is that he's situated quite close to me and I plan to visit often during the build process. I'll post plenty of pictures and technical details.

Actually being a DDK newbie I'm probably being a tad lazy - i'm sure sure the answer to this and thousand of other questions has been answered previously - will start searching before asking in future but thanks again all the same.

I've just ordered new door seals from a Porsche Centre and am told these are the same part (number 911 531 095 03) for both sides.

It seems odd that these do not differ for left and right - does anyone have experience of these seals? Is the Porsche rubber the best option?

I do like the idea of keeping the gauge although keen not to spoil my resto in any way with something that's out of place.

I'll post a decent photo when the gauge is back from being refurbished - any other input in the meantime would be most welcome.
