Funny timing - I was suppose to go to Thornton's birthday party today but feeling under the weather - I NEVER GET SICK! This is a lovely color! I do not believe it to be Gulf Blue. Seems a bit more muted. I recall Thornton telling me Emory picked out the color but I will shoot him an email to confir...

Those look really nice! Does the material have enough weight so they don't wrinkle easily? I ask because I made my own set from material bought from Home Depot (the Wal Mart of home improvement stores here in the US) and the material looks similar but is very light.

It's not difficult. Make sure the surface is clean clean clean. Use soapy water. Do not stretch material. Work from the center out. Use a laser level. Use a soft wedge to work out bubbles. Have a beer when done.

Ummm...imagine rolling up a sheet of vinyl or leather. Don't know about orignal thickness but it really can't be that different.

Just to answer your original question and seeing as how I just received the attached image, these were the only 2 leaf green cars at R Gruppe Treffen 07. There were about 125+ cars there that weekend.

The seats are repros from NML Depot. Very good guy to deal with and excellent product. I had a plain set of overriders painted body color. Influenced by an Emory built 912R on that detail. I chose 7/8" tape because IMO 1" is too wide - yes I am that picky ;). It's 3M decal tape purchased f...

I retained the original rear bumpers and lic plate panel because my car has LWB flares on all 4 corners. I don't believe there is a f/g rear bumper that fits a SWB with LWB flares. Anway - took the time to read the sticky post and re-register for photobucket. These are the most recent pics of my car...

Ian - just skimmed through your photobucket pics - great documentation. Reminded me of how much fun it was to restore mine. I used a corrugated rubber material cut to the shape of the floor mats. It is very similar to the rubber portion over the tunnel in front of the shifter. It can be found at you...
