Dampers
I have adjustable Konis with a Boge strut. Picked them up in the US.
The adjustability bit is a bit suspect, as to adjust, you need to fully compress (removed) the damper and twist around.

You'd be amazed at the mpg too.
But not in a good way...
Other than that Touaregs really are pretty competent.

Winter storage - petrol question
I has these worries when I lived back in the US where, apparently, gas goes off. So every winter I spent days adding stabiliser to fuel tanks and cans in the garage and worried about restarting and varnishing / carbs etc. However, on returning to the UK I was informed that we have stabiliser type su...

Should I colour code underneath a 69T ?
My MY70 car is also black underneath.
It's worth noting that it's also black in the engine bay and under the bonnet as per factory so I have kept this the same too.

Special getting closer...
Graham, thank you.
Your (pretty much) unerring dedication to both your cars and their engines has been a source of both inspiration and valuable technical advice.
I will add this to the check list when I get mine back together and about to start!

Very OT - recommend a good 4x4?
I have had a few 4x4s in recent years. From the agricultural Defender and Range Rover (terrible reliability) to the relative luxury of the German X5 and a Touareg. The only thing I would say its that tyres make a HUGE amount of difference. Let's face it, all wheel drive is all wheel drive. Some with...

Some of those prices look incredibly 'keen'.
I'd phone for verification.
Southbound are really good though.

1976 912E Air Flow Meter
It's a Bosch part IIRC. It's probably a similar or identical part to the VW type IV engine air flow meter.
I might have some photos somewhere with part number.
I used to have a cracked boot, sensor and air box too. No idea where they are though, sorry.

I've been offered 1970 911T project.
You could sink £25k into something like that very easily, unless you can do some of the work yourself...
