YUCK!

If you want to end up with this type of thing why not start with one of them Jap motors? Or a Ford Probe?

Lights!

Now the evenings are drawing in my 912 is showing off a few 'features' that I'd really like to address before winter really sets in. 1 - The brake lights seem to come on only under quite hard braking. I know this because in the dark the rear targa screen glows red thanks to the (discreet) LED high l...

We had a great time. Camped on the site the night before - excellent facilities, but damn it was COLD! My son loved the digger play area in the sandpit in the main park, & we took the dog on a long wander round the lake early morning to warm up a bit after our night in the split. I managed to ge...

I've asked Santa Claus for TRG 912 - perfect for my 912 TaRGa. On a couple of the registration websites for about £1,700.

However, I don't think it'll be under the tree in 3mths ( ) time...

My 912 leaks when the tank is full too. Found out the day before CLM when I went to the local garage to fill up & looked from the queue in the shop across the forecourt, the setting sun very low picked out the steady trickle of fuel under the car, which stopped after 30 seconds or so. There was ...

Hi Anthony - a belated welcome to DDK. I'm another 912 owner, & Essex Boy. Whereabouts are you? Would be good to convoy to the next local(ish) meet. You still going to Action? Might be heading that way in my splitty. The 912 is waiting on the arrival of an oil hose that went after the fitting wo...

Come on - the ONLY place to buy your grille spoiler (eyebrow) 15 years ago was Deutchcar. That's where mine came from! I bet loads of DDKers had Mk1 golfs back then. It was the logical progression  from beetles. But we all got bored & came back to rear engined, air cooled motors

In our day- to- day jobs, most of us are responsible, focussed and ambitious officers within some sort of corporate rat race. ..... DDK just gives you an opportunity to let your inner child out with like minded souls.
That's an excellent summary of what we're all here for :)
