Re: Collecting Porsche books

Thanks James, sounds like both then.....hadn't used the 'tank of fuel' justification to date but added to the 'man maths' file!

Re: Collecting Porsche books

Thanks for the recommendation on the 'Porsche 964 The Modern Classic', hadn't seen that one and looks good.....anyone seen the 'Porsche 964 Book - Air Cooled Years 1989-1994' and able to comment on how it compares?

4 x ATS 7J x 15" cookie cutters, with tyres

I have 4 x ATS 7J x 15 cookie cutters, with tyres, used as rollers for various projects, would need refurbishment and tyres replaced for road use.

Photos upon request.

£175, collection only from Cheshire (CW6 - near Oulton Park).

NLA....gone to a good home

Darren

Don't know if you get 000 magazine? Latest issue (013) features John Brewer's fantastic 1975 Turbo......a RHD car supplied new to Australia.....that looks to have the same mirror on it.

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

Correct Dave........not quite sure why they describe it as 'paint to sample' in their advert, standard '6809' Blutorange/tangerine.

Re: Deciding factors ...

Andy - sounds like a bit of a basket case you have there, think you need to pass and let me take it on; like Keith I have found the Fulvia becoming of increasing interest.

Congratulations!

Re: Don't get angry: claybaring?

Relieved to see the posts by James and Andy......whenever I hear people talking about their car cleaning regimes, or worse still 'detailers' spending hours on a car before wrapping it in clingfilm or whatever it is, I find myself feeling a little uneasy; I raise a glass to whoever invented patina......

Lackstift - 6809 Blutorange

I have for sale an unopened Lackstift in Blutorange (Tangerine) code 6809, this was one of the re-makes done by Karl Bauer in the USA so is approximately 9 years old rather than 50+ of the originals. Identically boxed as per the originals other than 'OBP' on the inner end tab of the box just to diff...

Fantastic thread/story.

A little surprised at the 'additional modifications' or were they present in period?
