Halfords used to do them and Im annoyed i cant find them locally as I loved their fuel clamps you know the blue plastic ones those chrome wire things are useless in comparison

The owner has just bought a 912 scrapper with 5 speed IRS box and wants to swap it over, I said its a non starter really and would look far better in my split screen camper :)

We might put the other engine in his barndoor panelvan though :)

Like to have about 4 and have differnet heads on each a flap disc, ultra thin plasma disc, wire wheel and grinding or heavy cutting disc. Sabves loads of time in swapping heads allt he time and works out so much cheaper than buying a single Bosch. Also most come with 3 year gauruntee and if they go ...

Well we removed the engine and box today relatively easily.By looks of it gearbox is a relatively recent addition although CVs seem to be with car. Might well have to bug him again as something somewhere along the line aint right as arms are just too damn tight unless this is how they are supposed to be on a rebuilt but I think not :( Plus this sealing problem in so annoying. Getting fed up now having major woes with the gearbox, cant get it to seal no matter what i try and the arms seem very tight despite cleaning everything maticulously and using genuine gaskets etc exactly the same as it came off :( Any help or advise would be appreciated. 13k thats ridiculous!!! a couple of k max will get you a full rebuild I would have thought I would still fight for this one though.
