Sounds spot on to me :lol:

The car is (i Believe) a 1972 T/E 2.4 911 US spec running MFI so 140 BHP sounds bang on the money.

Many thanks. A thought occurs...... does this mean I have the fabled "matching numbers" what ever that may mean :?

my 911t is used almost daily, lives on the street under an all weather cover when sleeping, and thrives on use. she's the mistress, and can be expensive at times. Max at Revival does some nice cars. Also get something pre '73 and save on the tax as well :lol: go on you know you want too :lol: :lol:

where abouts in the country? London is about £45-65PA while surrey is about £35-45ps in my experiance. Mind you my engine rebuild was done ,after much barganing, at £40 pa in london so barter your heart off and you never know.

Hi David, I'm just coming to the end of a complete top and bottom end rebuild, including all tin ware, the lot basically, apart from pistons which were fine but have been polished. Thats the one I saw in the 70's ! very cool and probably better aerodynamically as the ski's lie lower over the back of the car rather than giving you an extra wing!

Also they do look soo very cool 8)
