Elephant Racing bushes now fitted

I have just picked up my car from Strasse where Dave 'The Legend' Sunderland has been fitting my Elephant Racing polybronzes bushes to the rear spring plates & the front A-arms. Additionally we have fitted all new superpro antiroll bar bushes ( from Nick Moss) front & rear. Following this the car has had a full suspension set-up
Initial impressions.... the car has been transformed
Previously the rear end has always felt soft & unpredictable & the car would wander in cross winds. Generally it just didn't feel right. Now it is 100% more stable in cross winds even at high speed
The whole car feels more secure & gives more confidence. I am extremely happy.
Roll on LeMans & DDK north

BTW, Dave 'The Legend' Sunderland @ strasse really knows his stuff. Well recommended if you need work doing on your early Porsche

Sounds good.
Mine's in again next week at M-Sport (ever heard of them?) in Norwich.
A handy find in Norwich. He mainly works on later stuff but is also in the middle of taking a 2.4 to 2.7 and really knows his stuff.
Having the valve clearances done, new K and N's, tuned, suspension adjusted and set up etc. Roll on Le Mans!

25" front , 24.5" rear
the rear is now almost an inch higher than it was before the suspension work.
I'll dig out the spec sheet to confirm this 100%

i liked the look of your car low down but it the way it drive sthat matters!!!
what sorta cost and where do ya get the elephant racing bushes, havin some suspension work done at the mo... my car has the same symptoms as it tends to feel a bit loose at high speeds..
keeps us updated, any new pics too???

I'll get some photos soon. TBH, it doesn't look much different. I'll be putting some miles on the car over the next month so will be able to report back
I got the elephant racing bushes direct from them in the states. They are not cheap when compared to polyurethane ones, but are superb quality.
If I had the time pre LeMans I would have fitted them myself which would have saved me a lot of money.

Guys,
Just got my car back as well from the final rear height adjustments.
Height is to the lower EU height of 25.5 and 25 inches. Hot66s is a .5 inches lower than my car.
All I can say now that I have put a few hundred miles on the car. I can throw the car into a corner, and all the car says is it needs more power.
The 195/65 x 15s P7s just hold the car to the road.
Best improvement I have made. Not cheap, but if you want to keep the car for the next 30 years, a great investment.
