See my post here.. not sure if I like the wheels so I am thinking I might need to lower the car esp the rear end...

Or paint the satin black inner part.. I used 195 65 15's the new Dunlop SP1 Sport tyres that have just come out interesting tread pattern..

I just think the car has lost it's inocent steely look for balloon tyres and wheels.. They almost don't look 15's more like 14's but they are 15's..

Gavin's 912 looks nice with his and I know he had his lowered..

Mark, it is a difficult one to comment upon as much of it is down to personal taste.

I first recall seeing a similar set up from Julian (Sp?) at Karmann Konnection who had his fuchs chromed (instead of polished like yours) on his 911 2.4E IIRC.

It looked the business especially as he was a bit of a dude but he had to spend ages keeping them clean.

I prefer the original set up for the year: anodised with black inserts but then again, the original S wheel of 1966 -was that fully anodised -anyone?-
looks so innocent but mightily cool.

The fuchs is a great design icon and that tends to bias me on a car like yours. Anodising them instead of polishing might "bling it down" perhaps?

Best regards,

Bert
